MeshGames Backgammon
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 14, 2026
Package: com.dataxad.meshgames.backgammon
Summary
MeshGames Backgammon is designed to be private by default. The app does not collect, transmit, or share personal data. There is no analytics tracking SDK and no developer server receives gameplay information. Everything you do in the game stays on your device unless you personally choose to email us feedback.
Data We Collect
None.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- No telemetry or diagnostics are uploaded.
- No account or sign-in is required or offered.
Data Stored On Your Device
The following data is saved locally on your device and is never uploaded by the app:
- Your local display profile, including display name, color, and icon choices.
- Your local game saves, settings, and game statistics.
You can delete local app data at any time through Android Settings > Apps > MeshGames Backgammon > Storage > Clear storage.
Optional Feedback
If you tap Send Feedback, the app opens a pre-filled draft in your own email app. You decide whether to send it, and it is sent through your email account — not through us or any server we control. The draft includes basic build/device info and recent in-app diagnostic logs (such as local Bluetooth multiplayer connection events) to help us reproduce issues. These logs stay on your device, contain no message content, and are shown in the draft for you to review before you choose to send. Your game statistics are included only if you turn on that option yourself; by default they are not.
If you tap Rate Us, the app opens the public Google Play listing in the Play Store. We only receive messages that you actively choose to send by email.
Local Multiplayer And Bluetooth
Backgammon includes experimental local Bluetooth multiplayer in testing for nearby play. Bluetooth is used only to connect directly to a nearby device for a game when you choose that mode. No internet lobby, account, or cloud service is used.
On Android 11 and lower, Android requires a location permission to allow Bluetooth
discovery. The app does not read or collect your GPS or physical location. On Android 12
and higher, the Bluetooth scan permission is declared with neverForLocation.
During a local multiplayer session, the display name you chose may be shown to the person you are playing with, on their device, for that session only. It is not uploaded or stored by us.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. If the app ever enables analytics, backend services, or automatic diagnostics uploads, this policy and the Google Play Data safety form will be updated before release.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Data Deletion
Because nothing is collected on a server, there is nothing for us to delete remotely. You can remove all app data from your device using Android's Clear storage control. If you emailed us feedback and want that email deleted, contact us at the address below.
Contact
For privacy questions, data deletion requests for feedback email you sent, or support, contact [email protected].
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy before or after release. Material changes will be reflected on this URL with an updated date.
