The short answer
What is MeshGames Dominoes - Offline?
MeshGames Dominoes is a classic offline Draw Dominoes game for Android, published by DataXad and free on Google Play with no ads or in-app purchases. You play a full match against the computer on a double-six set of 28 tiles, and the first player to 100 points wins. Pass & Play lets two players use one phone. Tap a bright tile to play it on the line, and tap the end you want when a tile fits the two ends. You always see the scores, boneyard count, and computer's tile count, and each round ends with an explanation of who scores and why. The board fits portrait and landscape screens, and optional nearby chat is voice and text only, with no shared nearby match at this time. The app has no account, sign-in, analytics, or Internet permission, and your statistics and local profile stay on your device.

Questions and answers
MeshGames Dominoes - Offline: common questions.
Is MeshGames Dominoes free?
Yes. The app is free on Google Play, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It has no account and no sign-in. You can play a full match against the computer without an internet connection.
Is an internet connection necessary to play MeshGames Dominoes?
No. You can play a full match against the computer offline. The app does not request the Internet permission. Nearby chat connects the devices in the same session, and nearby data is not sent to DataXad or an online service.
Can I play Dominoes with a friend on a different phone?
Not as one shared match. Dominoes has no shared nearby match at this time. Each of you plays on your own phone. Nearby voice and text chat is the only nearby feature, so you can speak with friends nearby while you play.
Can two players share one phone in MeshGames Dominoes?
Yes. Tap Pass & Play on the home screen. Before each turn, the app shows Pass the device to Player 1 or Player 2. Tap Ready to see your tiles. Only the player who is up sees a hand. The other player's tiles are not shown.
How does the computer select its moves?
The computer selects its move from its own tiles and the open line. It does not use your tiles. On Easy, it picks a random legal move. On Medium and Hard, it scores each legal move. Hard also counts how many of its remaining tiles can fit an open end after the move.
How do points work when a round is blocked?
A round is blocked when the boneyard is empty and no player can play. The player with the smaller pip total in hand wins the round and gets the difference between the two hands. If the two hands have the same pip total, no player gets points, and the round is a draw.
How do I win a match?
The first player to get 100 points wins the match. A round ends when a player empties their hand or the game is blocked. When you empty your hand, you score each pip left in the computer's hand. The score of each player stays on screen.
Does the app use my microphone?
Only when you hold the push-to-talk button in nearby chat that you start. One person speaks at a time. Nothing is recorded or saved, and voice is not stored or uploaded.
Does MeshGames Dominoes include gambling?
No. Dominoes uses no money, no wagering, no prizes, and no simulated gambling at all. The game is a free offline match against the computer, with no in-app purchases.
Does the game work in landscape?
Yes. The line of play fits the screen in portrait and landscape. In landscape, the Back and Rules buttons, the turn status, and the scores sit in a left rail. This keeps more room for the line of play.
